​I fell in love with UX fast and hard — it was the perfect blend of my two favorite things: art and science. Art had been part of me since I was a kid (drawing was my favorite “sport”), and science gave that art meaning. Research gave early UX work its voice, and suddenly design was more than how something looked — it was how people experienced it.

More than 20 years later, I still love this work. My roles have evolved, methodologies and tools have changed, but the things that drew me in are still at the heart of what I do: creativity, curiosity, and the belief that design can shape lives for the better.

 

Every day, I get to connect big-picture vision with the details that make it real. And whether I’m leading a team or rolling up my sleeves in the design work, my focus is always the same — creating useful, thoughtful products that make a real difference.
